Nutritional supplement for foals and growing horses designed to help promote normal tendon and joint growth, and healthy leg development.
Research has shown a link between nutrition and the development of orthopedic
disease in foals. Leg Aide™ from Progressive Nutrition Veterinary Care
addresses this by supplying essential nutrients that promote normal growth.
The typical time frame for improvement is less than two weeks for sucklings;
under four weeks for weanlings, and six to eight weeks on yearlings.
Traditionally, dealing with growth-related problems with nursing foals
involves restricting feed to lactating mares to try to slow down milk
production. In weanlings, a similar approach is taken. Is this the best
solution? We have found it more beneficial to increase the mineral levels
in the foal’s
diet to levels necessary for normal growth.
Leg Aide™ is a nutritional supplement for foals and growing horses. It is designed to help promote normal tendon and joint growth, and healthy leg development.
